Agencies in Tasmania are striving to determine a magenta ooze that has materialized on a remote shoreline, with certain experts worried it could be an algal bloom.

Extensive Occurrence On Shore

The magenta-hued slime appeared along a section of a coastal area about 60 kilometers south of the city. A comparable ooze has also been recorded on areas of Little Roaring Beach and Little Taylors Bay.
